Winter wedding ideas

Although May, June and early September are the most popular months to get married, there is for sure a special charming and cozy feeling connected to winter weddings.

In order to persuade our lovely brides to spread horizons towards the end of the year, here are some lovely ideas for a cold weather wedding.

TOUCH OF NATURE

Include pine cones, wood, berries, feathers, bark texture, log centerpiece base, white pumpkins… Combine with rich seasonal colors, but try to avoid green and red as it might be too holiday oriented. Clear glass vases with white branches and amaryllis make a perfect winter centerpiece.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Offer your guests with warm comfort delights such as apple cinnamon cider, hot chocolate and herbal tea, marshmallows, gingerbread cookies, eggnog…

COZY COATS

Allow yourself and your bridal party to wear weather appropriate clothing. Provide your guests with soft blankets and warm gloves if you`re having an outdoor ceremony.

DECORATIONS

Use candles everywhere! Go over-the-top with romantic candlelight. It will look great if you pair it with sparkling cascade lights and crystal garlands. Silver accents with crystal details add a glamorous touch to each and every ambiance.

CEREMONY BACKDROP

Winter is the perfect time to get snow covered mountains, crystal curtains or garlands of greenery with lavishing icing for your wedding photo scenery.
