This is the list of questions we`ve been collecting
from our couples in past years.

Love has led you here — you have decided to get married and consider to do so in Croatia.

We are specialized in planning destination weddings, especially in region called Istria. When sending us inquiry, please make sure to include info about your preferred wedding date, type of ceremony (symbolic, civil or religious), number of guests and preferred region/town/airport. Without these basic information it will be hard to move forward. As a general guidance we will send you a pdf brochure with some of most popular wedding venues.

Once you let us know your preferences, we start the process by arranging a phone/Skype consultation which allows us to get to know each other. It is important for us to know and understand your preferences and wedding day vision, but at the same time you need to learn about us and way we do business. Within one week (max two weeks if you contact us in peak season) we’ll send you our initial proposal which will include an overall budget estimate. Although there are some rough price guidance in our venue brochure, final fees are determined once we understand the level of services required.

If together we have found a venue that matches your vision and budget, it is time to get serious. We will send you a contract and payment schedule.

A booking fee of 30% is required to secure the wedding date and start the planning process.That amount will be reduced from the final balance and at the same time will guarantee your wedding date.

Bookings are only deemed official once we have received your deposit. Wedding dates cannot be held longer then 15 days for any reason, due to popular demand.

All prices will include vat and there will be no hidden costs.

Our work together starts once we receive your signed contract and deposit. From that point on we create a wedding gantt chart, wedding day timeline, detailed budget sheet, visual concept etc.

After booking the venue and planner, it is time to decide about musicians and photographer.

In the next stage you will decide about florist, lights, wedding cake, hair and make-up artist etc.

We are happy to offer complementary (free of charge) Skype call in duration of 45min to answer any questions you might have. Call can be replaced with live meeting in our office (based in Zagreb). We can also offer on-site meeting (visiting up to 3 venues) for a non-refundable fee of 250€ to cover expenses.

If you have preferred vendors (couple usually fly in their own photographer and dj) we`ll still be happy to coordinate them as a part of your team.

Although we try to reply on e-mails within 24h it is not always possible to do so, especially if we have a week-day wedding(s). As for communication over weekends, please bear in mind that weddings usually take place during weekends and our “free” weekends are used for workshops and education. That`s why we provide few late-hours sessions each week, so couples can coordinate that with their working schedule and get in touch. All sessions (phone, Skype, WhatsApp/Viber…) have to be pre-scheduled with you planner so he/she can prepare accordingly. Short calls are appropriate when your wedding is 1-2 weeks away and you need a quick consultation. In case your planner is out of office, you will receive an AutoReply with a returning date.

Your wedding planner would have to be in seriously bad shape not toattend your wedding.

But, in those kind of cases we have a network of colleagues to fill in for your planner. All of us have done few “feverish” weddings, without anyone noticing.

Since weddings mean long days (and nights) for planners and coordinators we cover only one wedding per day. Still, it can happen we have another one or two smaller projects in the same week, if time permits. We need to be well rested and focused for our clients, so we never take two weddings in a row.

As a team, we do not offer service commonly known as ‘day of coordination’, but it is always an inseparable part of our planning services. That means that by hiring Wedding in Croatia you can only get a full scope of wedding planning and coordination services.

For weddings with more than 60 guests you will usually get a senior wedding planner and one assistant (both dressed in black :) ). Our main job is to manage all vendors and timeline, while subtly directing your guests to following events. Although we do our best to inform your guests about what`s next to happen, please note that we can not offer mc/animation services and if your wedding should require any of those, we are happy to recommend professionals who`ll lead the program.

On the day, we will arrive early in order to meet & greet all vendors and supervise the set-up. We`ll be there to guide your guests through the day, micro manage the schedule and oversee that all details are in accordance with concept we have created together. Once the wedding cake is served and bridal bouquet tossed, we will check-out and let you party (usually until 4am :) ).
